To make a review short and helpful, this book is very clear in its goal : how to perform pull-ups correctly regardless of skill level, making it good for a beginner and a veteran as well (if they need to check something for quick reference, etc.). The exercises are well laid out in progressive difficulty, making it an ideal book to have when you need to know something in this particular exercise. It is not a book really about health (except for short intro on overall health) or a book on getting in shape; it is specifically a book on the pull-up, the benefits of adding them to your workout routine, and how to vary them to match your own personal fitness goals. I used to power lift before but for what joint problems bodyweight is the way to go you'll build functional strength and be just as strong. With this kindle mixed with convict conditioning 1 and 2 al kavadlos raising the bar and Matt fury you will have all the knowledge you need for bodyweight knowledge I highly recommend it buy it you wont regret it

If you're looking for pull-up variations, this is the book for you. Can't really say much more than that. If you don't have access to a pull-up bar, but you have a nice and sturdy door, check out Mark Lauren's "You Are Your Own Gym". That's the only info missing from "The Pull-up Bible" that I'm aware of.
Very pleased with this little token. I am a pull up enthusiast and found Ashley progressions, descriptions and pictures super. His sequence is logical. Fantastic buy. Don't think about it and get this book.
It's a good resource to understand different styles of Pull-Ups
Ok i think this book is great. It cheap it relatively short but covers a topic well. It covers some basic info then launches into the exercises. Ok yes you won't get a complete program out of this book but if you want some more variation into your pull ups its perfect. For the more complex and harder exercises it includes progressions and the book starts with the easiest exercises and builds up the the hardest.
It even makes a mention of greese the groove and how to use it to build up endurance. All for 5 bucks you can't complain.
